Beautiful Resin Bound Driveway in Sale, Manchester
With flooding becoming a more common occurrence public awareness of flood prevention has also increased. Because of this there are more and more permeable options available for driveways and patios. These allow rain water to sink through into the ground rather than collect on the surface. Permeable driveways don’t require any drainage systems to be put in place. Of all the options for a permeable driveway, resin bound aggregate is becoming the permeable surface of choice. It also has the additional benefits of being eco-friendly, hard wearing and long lasting.
New World Driveways recently completed installing a new driveway at a property in the Sale area of Manchester. The customer wanted the colour transcendent which is a mix of red and cream aggregate so we matched it with a brindle blocked edge. The brindle blocked edge was up to and around the fence, borders and directly to the front of the property which created a neat trim. A brindle curb was also fitted on the step at the front door. You can see from the photographs how the resin bound driveway once laid, perfectly complimented the brickwork of the house, providing continuity between the two.
In addition, there was a man hole cover to the front of the property which was also covered with the resin bound paving. This cleverly disguised it and created a clean finish. The aggregate was laid on a 14 m open pore tarmac making it fully permeable and therefore SuDS compliant. All the resins we use a New World Resin Bound Driveways are UV stable meaning they wont change colour or fade with the sun. As you can see from the photographs the overall affect was a beautiful smooth finish with no loose stones.
Resin bound driveways are an affordable and attractive choice.
