Beautiful Resin Bound Driveway in Sale, Manchester
New World Resin Driveways recently completed a contemporary driveway perfectly suited to the contemporary style upgrade that a property in Cheadle recently had. Our customers liked resin bound driveways and so opted for this.
We always start the installation process by clearing the area and then mark out the shape of the driveway by fitting into place the blocks and KL kerbs that form the edge of the driveway. At this point we also added KL kerb retainer blocks along the side where the hedge was and the planted section. Once these were in place, we then filled in the area with a layer of permeable tarmac which ensures that the driveway is SUDS compliant. We were then able to cover the driveway with a layer of resin bound aggregate.
By using the resin bound aggregate, we were able to create beautiful, curved lines that followed the shape of the corner plot that the house was on. That’s one of the advantages of having a resin bound driveway in Cheadle, Stockport, it can accommodate any area that you want covering, regardless of the shape or size.
With this project, our customer picked the Titan Silver Blend Aggregate along with Medina Granite blocks and charcoal coloured kerb blocks. The colour of the blocks picked out the dark grey in the aggregate. It created a lovely trim to frame the edge of the resin bound driveway in Cheadle, Stockport.
The colours were the perfect complement for the modern grey window frames and door. KL kerbs were also used for the square step at the front door, which was covered with the resin bound aggregate, again tying everything nicely together.
In addition, we used our in-house joiner to hand build two gates, a single heavy duty pedestrian gate and a double gate off the driveway, which you can see in some of the photographs attached. We applied kiln dried sand which was brushed into the joints of the blocks as well as the tarmac strip between the blocks and the pavement. It’s these little details that create the perfect finishing touches for your resin bound driveway in Cheadle, Stockport.
We also added crushed glass to prevent slipping. As with all our resin bound driveways, we used 7.5 UV resin kits as standard.
